Enhance. Restore. Rejuvenate.

At Verity Clinic, we offer expertly administered dermal filler treatments to restore volume, soften lines, and enhance your natural beauty. Using high-quality, medically approved products, Dr. Claire ensures safe, tailored results that align with your facial anatomy and personal goals.

What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels typically made from hyaluronic acid – a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps retain moisture and elasticity. Fillers are used to:

  • Smooth fine lines and wrinkles
  • Restore lost facial volume (e.g., cheeks)
  • Enhance facial features (e.g., lips, chin, nose)
  • Rejuvenate tired-looking skin

Our Product Promise: Only Premium Fillers

We exclusively use Teosyal® and Juvéderm®, two of the most reputable and scientifically advanced dermal filler brands available. These premium fillers are:
  • Longer lasting due to advanced cross-linking technology
  • Highly stable, helping reduce the risk of the filler shifting under the skin
  • Formulated for smooth, natural results without the “puffy” or overdone look
  • Thoroughly tested for safety, quality, and performance

We avoid the use of cheap, unregulated filler products that can lead to:

  • Uneven or unnatural results
  • Increased risk of irritation, inflammation, or allergic reaction
  • Breakdown too quickly or unpredictably
  • Greater potential for complications like lumps, infection, or vessel damage

Popular Treatment Areas

  • Lips – for subtle enhancement or definition
  • Nasolabial folds – lines from nose to mouth
  • Marionette lines – lines from corners of the mouth down
  • Cheeks  – to lift and restore volume
  • Chin – for contouring and definition

Frequently asked questions

Are dermal fillers safe?

Yes, when performed by a qualified medical professional using licensed products, dermal fillers are considered safe. We follow strict hygiene and medical protocols to ensure optimal outcomes.

What are the common side effects?

It’s normal to experience some mild effects post-treatment, which usually resolve quickly. These can include:

  • Mild redness, tenderness, or swelling at the injection site
  • Slight bruising or a sensation of pressure under the skin
  • Temporary sensitivity or itching in the treated area
What are the potential (but uncommon) risks?

While complications are rare, they can occur and will be discussed during your consultation. These may include:

  • Localised infection
  • Development of small nodules (granulomas) under the skin
  • Blockage of a blood vessel leading to tissue damage (vascular occlusion)
  • Movement of the filler to adjacent areas over time
  • Uneven or asymmetrical results requiring correction
  • More significant allergic responses, such as swelling or rash

As a doctor-led clinic, we are fully trained to recognise and manage any adverse reactions promptly and safely.

How long do fillers last?

This depends on the type of filler, treatment area, and individual factors. Results typically last 6 to 18 months.

Is the treatment painful?

Most fillers contain a numbing agent (lidocaine), and we apply a topical anaesthetic beforehand. Most patients describe the procedure as very tolerable.

What is the downtime?

Most clients experience minimal downtime. You may notice slight swelling, tenderness, or bruising in the treated areas for a few days up to a week. These effects are usually short-lived and can often be covered with makeup after 24 hours.

If you’ve had lip filler, swelling is to be expected and is usually more noticeable. Lips often appear fuller in the first few days post-treatment due to swelling, but this gradually settles. Your final result will become visible once the swelling subsides – usually by day 10 to 14.

Will my results look natural?

Yes. Our technique focuses on enhancing your natural features with subtle, harmonised improvements. We never overfill. The use of premium products also mean the filler is more in tune with your facial features, creating movement or structure as needed.

What if I want to reverse it?

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved safely using hyaluronidase, a medical enzyme. This gives flexibility and peace of mind. We will need to do a patch test before using.

Who can have fillers?

Fillers are suitable for adults aged 18 and over, provided there are no contraindications. We’ll assess your suitability during your consultation.

How do I prepare for the appointment?

Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Your practitioner will explain everything you need to know beforehand. Don’t drink alcohol or taking ibuprofen 24 hours prior to the consultation.

Disclaimer: everyone has a different reaction to treatment and so results will vary between people and results can last a different amount of time from person to person. Results, downtime and recovery vary person to person.
