Anti-wrinkle injections are a popular, minimally invasive treatment designed to relax specific facial muscles, softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. They work by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that cause muscle movement, resulting in smoother, more youthful-looking skin.

At The Verity Clinic, your safety is our priority. That’s why we use Bocouture®, a high-quality, prescription-only botulinum toxin type A product with an excellent safety profile. Manufactured in Germany, Bocouture is uniquely purified and free from complexing proteins, which means it has a lower risk of causing resistance over time.
Clinically Tested & Well-Tolerated
Bocouture has been extensively studied and is licensed for aesthetic use in the UK. It is widely used to treat expression lines such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. With decades of clinical use across Europe, it is known for its consistent, natural-looking results and high tolerability.
Botox is one of the brands used for anti-wrinkle treatments but there are plenty of others. Botox has just become the usual name used regardless of which botulinum A toxin brand is used.
This treatment takes up to 14 days to see the full effect, however usually you notice results within 3-10 days.
The effects last typically up to 12 weeks, though some people may find they notice wrinkles coming back before this, often dependant on lifestyle factors and genetics.
Regular clients often need further treatments after 3-4 months. If you take a break from treatments, lines and wrinkles will return.
Most people don’t require numbing cream beforehand, though we have some on hand if needed. Very small needles are used to allow for minimal discomfort.
You may find some localised swelling and redness at the sites injected for up to 30 minutes after the procedure.

Male patients and those with very strong muscles, may require a supplemental cost due to higher doses of toxin used. During the free consultation, this will be explained in detail if needed.
